Clio is a global leader in legal AI software, seeking an experienced engineer to build and maintain our scalable work and case management platform. You will contribute to high-performance features across frontend and backend while partnering with teams to drive quality and growth.

You will work on modernising components to .NET 8+ and Svelte.js, implement event-driven workflows, and optimize queries for performance in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C#/.NET including async/await and performance tuning.
• Deep SQL Server knowledge: query optimization, indexing and execution plans.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JS frameworks.
• Experience with distributed systems or microservices.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack features using C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL.
• Write and optimize hand-crafted SQL queries for performance.
• Design event-driven workflows using Event Store.
• Improve search and data projections with ElasticSearch.
• Modernize components to .NET 8+ and Svelte.js, including containerization.
• Automate infrastructure with Pulumi and Azure DevOps.
• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.
