VirtueTech Recruitment Group in London is seeking an experienced Senior C#/.NET Software Engineer to join an established financial services organisation. The role focuses on designing, developing and enhancing high-performance trading applications and business-critical systems, with ownership of initiatives and architectural input.

The position offers up to 115K base salary plus bonus and benefits, with a hands-on emphasis and opportunities to apply AI and automation in engineering processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development experience, including SQL, APIs and system design.
• Background in financial services, ideally trading systems or capital markets.
• Understanding of trading workflows, financial products or order management systems.
• Experience delivering complex technical projects and taking ownership of solutions.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.

We are working with an established financial services organisation seeking an experienced Senior C#/.NET Software Engineer to join its growing engineering function in London.

This is a hands-on technical role offering the opportunity to design, develop and enhance complex trading applications and business-critical systems.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering new technical initiatives, taking ownership of complex engineering challenges and contributing to architectural decisions.

This opportunity would suit an experienced engineer who enjoys remaining close to the code while taking on greater technical responsibility and influencing engineering direction.
