Job summary

Hawksworth, a leading UK Financial Services organisation, is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer to join its Digital Product Engineering team. You will build and evolve customer-facing digital products using C#, .NET/.NET Core and Azure, working closely with Product Managers, UX Designers and fellow engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C#, .NET / .NET Core and Microsoft Azure.
• Significant experience in Digital Product teams, collaborating with Product Managers, Product Owners, UX Designers and other engineers.
• A genuine understanding of product development, customer journeys, user experience and continuous product improvement.
• Modern full-stack engineering experience, including APIs, microservices and contemporary front-end technologies.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing and modern software engineering practices
• Knowledge of clean architecture, SOLID principles, test-driven development and building scalable, maintainable applications.
• An understanding of AI, Generative AI and emerging technologies, particularly how these can improve digital products, engineering productivity and customer experiences.
• Experience taking ownership of software throughout its lifecycle, including development, deployment, monitoring, support and ongoing enhancement.
