Job Description:

Wood Process & Energy is recruiting an experienced Senior C&I Engineer to support our projects on a minimum 12-month contract, based in Stockton or Hull.

Hybrid working structure with at least 2 days in the office. Remote work is possible, with occasional travel to the office or client site as required.

Requirements:

• Experience in Energy, Chemicals, and Refining sectors
• Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
• Proven experience as a Senior C&I engineer on projects from concept to start-up
• Self-motivated team player with minimal supervision
• Development of Instrument Engineering deliverables
• Degree or equivalent in engineering
• Chartered Engineer status (desired)
• Experience with safety system upgrades, specification control, and safety lifecycle (desired)
• Experience with field instrumentation, analysers, ESD, valves, and control devices
• Participation in HAZOP, LOPA, Alarm Reviews, SIL Determination (desired)
• Knowledge of IEC 61511, SIL, and Functional Safety (desired)
• Experience with Fire & Gas systems and BS5839-1
• Experience with IT/Telecoms/Networks/CCTV (desired)
• Interface management of Instrumentation and Control for Mechanical packages
• Client and vendor liaison experience
• Strong technical background and adherence to standards
