Job summary

Kantor Energy, based in the London Office, is seeking a Senior Controls & Instrumentation Engineer to work on heat network projects. The role blends detailed design work in the engineering office with hands-on site engineering during construction, reporting to the Engineering Manager and Project Manager.

You will engage with clients and suppliers, lead C&I design and site activities, and help drive successful project outcomes across procurement, design, construction and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• Honours bachelor’s degree in engineering (Level 8).
• Minimum 7 years' C&I engineering experience in energy sector.
• Experience in management and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Understanding of BMS and PLC control systems.
• Familiar with Siemens and Trend control platforms.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed design and site engineering for C&I controls on heat network projects.
• Coordinate with procurement, design, construction and commissioning.
• Act as senior C&I design engineer during detailed design.
• Lead site C&I engineer during construction.
• Review project performance and reporting.
