Job summary

Coforge is seeking an experienced Senior C++ Developer to join its London team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting mission-critical applications for Airline Operations Platform solutions.

You will work on high-performance backend services, APIs, and system integration, with strong emphasis on real-time decision-making and reliability. Candidates should have extensive C++ experience (STL, OOP, design patterns, multithreading) and familiarity with Linux/Unix, REST APIs, SQL,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience with C++ in production-grade systems, ideally in airline/travel domains.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, design patterns and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical C++ and Python applications.
• Develop and optimize high-performance backend services and APIs.

Job Description

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C++ and Python.
• Work on Airline Operations Platform (AOP) modules and operational systems.
• Develop and optimize high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Integrate airline operational systems with internal and third-party applications.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability.
• Perform code reviews and enforce development best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, product owners, and operations teams.
• Support CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
• Strong proficiency in C++ (STL, OOP, Design Patterns, Multithreading).
• Experience with Airline Operations Platform (AOP) solutions.
• Experience in Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, and system integrations.
