Pico is seeking an experienced technical leader to drive innovation, mentor developers, and architect our high-performance systems. This hybrid role requires strong C# expertise, architectural vision, and hands-on leadership to deliver complex real-time data solutions.
You will guide teams in Agile environments, participate in code reviews and testing, and champion best practices across the SDLC. St Neots onsite three days a week with two days at home, offering growth and development
Qualifications
- Expert C# and performance-critical software background.
- Strong software architecture design and maintenance experience.
- Hands-on with signal processing, data acquisition, or real-time systems.
- Proven coaching and team leadership skills.
- Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices.
- Excellent ability to communicate technically and lead workshops.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, maintenance, and modernization of core software architecture.
- Mentor Software Development Engineers and promote best practices.
- Own major epic work from design to deployment with Product Owner.
- Tackle complex, performance-critical tasks including data handling.
- Allocate time for blue-sky development and feature feasibility studies.
- Ensure code quality aligns with standards and full SDLC processes.
