Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a Senior Buyer / Procurement Specialist to lead procurement activities across complex engineering, nuclear, defence, and life sciences projects. You will manage supplier relationships, support contract preparation and negotiation, and ensure commercial objectives are met in a regulated environment.

Based in a hybrid Manchester role, you will engage internal teams and external suppliers to deliver sourcing solutions, monitor supplier performance, and apply UK

Qualifications

• Demonstrable procurement or supply chain experience in engineering, construction, infrastructure or other technical industries.
• Strong knowledge of UK contract forms, especially NEC4 PSC.
• Experience supporting contract management, supplier negotiations and procurement best practices.
• Understanding of UK procurement processes, commercial principles and financial governance.
• MCIPS qualification or demonstrable equivalent procurement expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities across a portfolio of engineering and project-based requirements.
• Engage with internal teams, consultants, contractors and suppliers to develop sourcing solutions.
• Support contract preparation, negotiation, award and ongoing supplier performance management.
• Provide procurement expertise to identify and mitigate commercial risks.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to support project delivery.
