Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR Limited in the UK is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead sourcing and commercial activity for site-based services, infrastructure and operations. You will work with Programme, Construction, Engineering, Operations and Commercial teams to shape requirements and influence early decisions while ensuring a robust supply chain.

Ideal candidates bring experience in regulated or safety-critical environments, with a track record of competitive tenders, negotiations and contract awards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading end-to-end procurement in siteworks, infrastructure or construction settings.
• Strong commercial acumen with hands-on tendering and supplier negotiations.
• Ability to influence diverse stakeholders across technical and commercial interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activity including pre-qualification, RFx, tender evaluation, negotiation and contract award.
• Build and manage a resilient, scalable supplier base for siteworks and operational services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to shape requirements and early design decisions.
• Provide clear commercial insight and robust recommendations from market information.
• Ensure governance, compliance and documentation across procurement activities; manage supplier performance.
