Job summary

Norse Group LTD is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead end-to-end procurement for Housing & Construction, from concept through to contract award. You will perform market analysis, sourcing, tendering and negotiations, ensuring best value for money and robust supplier relationships across Alliance Norse.

Based at our Norwich head office with occasional travel to Buxton, the role demands construction procurement experience, familiarity with JCT contracts, and ability to run public sector tenders via

Qualifications

• Experience in construction procurement, housing association/local authority setting preferred.
• Knowledge of JCT contract terms and public sector procurement.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to Buxton and Norwich.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement from concept to contract award.
• Perform market analysis, sourcing, tendering, and negotiations.
• Build supplier and stakeholder relationships to ensure value for money.
• Ensure compliance with the Procurement Act 2023.
