This fast-growing retailer is looking to hire a Senior Buyer responsible for developing the food category range, focusing on ambient and impulse foods. The ideal candidate will have experience and drive to add value and support category growth.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Buying, you'll play a key role in shaping the product assortment, ensuring value for customers. Your responsibilities include renegotiating costs with brands and suppliers, identifying gaps, sourcing new products, and managing stakeholder relationships to maximize margin and profitability.

About the Person

Suitable candidates will have retail or wholesale buying experience, particularly in private label food, with strong supply chain management and negotiation skills, and a proven record of driving cost efficiencies and commercial opportunities.
