Job summary

Rise Resourcing is seeking a confident Senior Buyer for the Electrical department. You will develop product assortments, drive sales and profitability, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the right products at the right time and price.

You will analyse market trends, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with merchandising, planning, and store teams to support launches and promotions. The role includes relocation within the UK or several overnight stays when needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of buying or category management experience.
• Electrical experience preferred but open to GM or FMCG retail background.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience negotiating contracts and supplier agreements.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present category reviews and performance reports to management.
