Background/Brand

You will work full-time across a high-profile Formula 1 driver’s fashion brand that mixes merchandise with streetwear style. We are looking for a multi-talented, commercially-minded buyer who will take full ownership of the manufacturing process and help strategically drive this brand forward.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the store P&L with a focus on net profitability.
• Understand and deliver total business strategy, bringing energy to drive the business forward
• Ownership of the critical path
• Develop and drive product assortments to create maximum revenue
• Working with the design team to shape the product offering
• Ownership of the annual trade/category planning process
• Onboard new suppliers to the business to improve product margin, quality and deliveries
• Source, select and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the optimum product, process and terms of contract
• Have a long-term supplier strategy in place covering annual deals, payment terms and target product margins
• Monitor sales performance and stock levels, actively reviewing product on order and replenishment to optimise inventory turnover, minimise stockouts and reduce excess inventory
• Identify new business opportunities and market growth areas, conduct regular competitor analysis
• Collaborate with internal marketing, design, brand, e-commerce & finance to accelerate business growth
• Develop and lead a high-performing team

You will be

• Based in London and can commute to Hoxton at least four times a week
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in fashion buying
• A natural leader with the ability to network and build purposeful working relationships
• Highly organised, proactive and experienced with streamlining processes and improving ways of working
• A strong negotiator who can confidently review and challenge suppliers
