Job summary

Euro Projects Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Senior Buyer for a fast-growing aerospace/defence manufacturing business based in Leicestershire. You will be responsible for strategic procurement, supplier selection, price/term negotiations and driving continuous improvements across the supply chain.

The role requires pro-activity, resilience in a high-paced environment, and experience in aerospace or defence sectors, with strong stakeholder engagement across commercial, engineering and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Source and manage suppliers for high-volume engineered parts.

The Senior Buyer job will involve:

• Dealing with a wide range of suppliers, ordering a high volume of engineered parts / components.
• Working closely with the commercial team to analyse how they can improve their business in terms of procurement (there is the chance to get involved in some strategic projects in this regard)
• Building strong relationships with suppliers in order to maximize performance.
• Working closely with the Sales team in order to support them with sourcing activity for large contracts and sales enquiries.
