Procurement and Supply Chain has been recognized as a key enabler for our corporate goals. We have initiated an ambitious transformation program to develop a high-performing strategic function that partners with our business divisions and manages a cost-effective, reliable, and innovative supplier base. The Senior Buyer is responsible for achieving annual savings targets and meeting supplier quality and delivery expectations within the IT sector.

Your Core Responsibilities
  • Develop a detailed understanding of specific key spend areas, then tender, negotiate, and award contracts.
  • Deliver annual savings targets and ensure supplier quality and delivery expectations are met.
  • Create and maintain category strategies to drive cost reduction, mitigate risks, and encourage innovation over multiple years.
  • Manage sustainability requirements and ensure compliance with SBTi targets.
  • Accurately report savings delivery and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to processes, standards, and systems set by the Procurement Excellence team.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in strategic procurement within a category-management model.
  • Degree educated and pursuing CIPS qualification.
  • Experience in waste management, manufacturing, or logistics organizations is preferable.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders within matrix organizations.
  • Experience managing major supplier relationships and interacting at the account manager level with large suppliers.
