Role Purpose:

• Deliver sourcing strategies and manage suppliers, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Results & Achievements

• Develop, deliver, and approve sourcing campaigns within business constraints (time, cost, quality).
• Manage stakeholders throughout procurement campaigns.

Key Selection Criteria

Supplier Selection and Management:

• Select and manage the global supply chain to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Establish commercial frameworks, ensuring compliance and value.

Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement global supplier and commodity strategies for quality, cost, and delivery improvements.

Purchasing Process

• Run global tenders and define Purchase to Pay solutions.

Stakeholder Management

Manage relationships and develop business with suppliers within assigned categories or projects.

Training & Qualification requirements

• BA degree or equivalent/industry experience.
• Ideally MCIPs qualified or equivalent.

Desirable qualities:

• Advanced MS Excel skills for cost modelling and reporting.
• Proven results and global outlook.
• Good planning, project management, and commercial acumen.
• Experience in global category management and strategic sourcing.
• Supply chain management knowledge preferred.

Pay And Benefits

Salary: £40,000 - £52,500 (DOE) plus:

• Performance bonus up to 12.5%
• Benefits Allowance: £2200
• Pension: 12% employer and 6% employee contributions
• Holidays: 28 days + public holidays, with buy/sell options
• Private Medical Insurance: BUPA
• Life Assurance: 6x pensionable pay
• Home office purchase bonus: £250
