Are you a highly organised and self-starting individual with a keen eye for detail? Do you have a knack for negotiation and a desire to influence strategic purchasing decisions? Comex 2000 is seeking a talented Senior Buyer to join our dynamic team!

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to manage Comex 2000's purchasing needs and drive group purchasing objectives. You'll be instrumental in implementing our Procurement Strategy, researching and selecting high-quality products, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

You will be responsible for:

• Building strong supplier relationships and negotiating for the best prices, quantities, and delivery timescales.
• Monitoring and managing supplier performance and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Understanding market trends and analysing them to make informed buying decisions.
• Sourcing new suppliers and setting up purchasing processes.
• Being the point of contact for all purchasing matters for Operations, coordinating with Warehouses, and initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Delivering on KPIs related to cost, quality, service, and continuity of supply, and ensuring existing supply agreements are adhered to.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a buyer
• Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in negotiation
• Excellent analytical skills
• Commercial awareness
• IT literate, with experience of SAP desirable
• Experience in the telecoms or construction industries

Desirable Qualifications

• CIPS qualification Levels 3 or 4 preferred
