You will be joining the newly formed Adult Social Care & Health Business Support Division, which has around 300 business support professionals that deliver support to our frontline services empowering our residents to live their lives the way they want to.

We believe in the importance of supporting people to be involved in everyday activities, make choices and feel part of their communities, or not, as anyone has the right to do, in a way that suits them.

What you'll be doing

You will:

  1. foster good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  2. advocate for our clients and champion adult social care and health, acting as a point of contact; supporting telephone queries, mailbox management and production and distribution of correspondence and documentation
  3. ensure the oversight of the CQC registered service is continually maintained to always guarantee the safety of our clients and staff
  4. line manage and provide professional supervision of staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professional curiosity and development
  5. contribute to a range of initiatives to support changing business needs and our future ways of working, staying informed of policy, procedures and processes
  6. maintain financial processes, including preparing invoices, analysing and researching data, investigating queries and ensuring financial and data records are accurate

What you'll bring
  1. Proven experience in business support, administration, or a similar role.
  2. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  3. Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other office software.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude and a passion for problem-solving.
  6. A positive, can-do mindset with a commitment to delivering high quality work.
