A leading educational institution is seeking a part-time administrative support staff member. The role involves clerical and reception duties, providing essential support within well-defined regulations. Salary: £23,651 - £25,147 per year pro rata

Hours: 29 hours per week
The salary advertised is for a full-time position (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). The part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.
Hourly rate of pay: £12.96 - £13.78
This is a 39-week sessional post, meaning working hours will be during school term time plus in-service days.
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday, 08:30-15:30
Friday, 08:30-11:30
To start as soon as possible.

Relevant Qualifications
Educated to ‘Higher’ level, NC, or SVQ level 2 in English, or demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills, and competencies through relevant experience.
PVG Membership
This post is considered a Regulated Role involving vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.
All preferred candidates for regulated work with these groups will need to become a PVG Scheme member or update their existing membership before a formal job offer is made by East Lothian Council.
