Armstrong Watson in Northallerton seeks a Business Services Senior to join the Northallerton office and wider Business Services team. You will draft financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and companies, prepare VAT returns, and manage accounts.

The role requires AAT/ICAS/ACA/ACCA qualification, a Full UK driving licence, and experience in an accounting practice. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• AAT, ICAS, ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Experience in an accounting capacity at an accountancy practice.
• Able to prioritise workloads and work under pressure.
• Strong team work and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Complete draft financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and companies for review by senior staff.
• Prepare draft business tax computations for review by senior staff.
• Prepare VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accounts for clients.
• Assist with filing financial statements and corporate tax returns.
• Raise queries to the manager when needed.
