Job Description

As a Senior Platform Engineer, your responsibilities will include deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a portfolio of products and services used by Together colleagues on our hybrid cloud and on-premise IT infrastructure. This role works closely with other teams to deliver solutions that are well-architected, scalable, and conform to best practices. You will also provide mentoring to other team members as a key holder of technical knowledge.

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Adherence to Change Management, ITIL & Operational standards
• Providing out-of-hours production support as required
• Participating in the build, migration, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure (Azure & AWS)
• Ensuring colleague services follow automation best practices in account provisioning, system settings, monitoring, performance, security, and availability
• Supporting service desk efforts and collaborating with team members and customers to resolve issues promptly
• Evaluating, onboarding, maintaining, administering, and coordinating vendor support for colleague service software and SaaS systems
• Providing technical expertise and consultancy on initiatives
• Mentoring team members in technical and non-technical skills

Qualifications

It would be great if you had some of the following skills and experience:

• Experience supporting the application lifecycle and troubleshooting issues
• M365 suite (Mail, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Office Apps, Dynamics)
• Azure Active Directory SSO / MFA configuration and integration
• InTune & AutoPilot environment build and application configuration
• Windows 11
• Printing Solutions
• Strong understanding of security controls around server and account provisioning and access
• Experience supporting end users with troubleshooting
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Experience with DevOps procedures and working in an Agile environment
• Complex problem-solving and analytical skills
• Azure Qualifications preferred
• Accountable and results-oriented with ability to meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
• Experience mentoring others in technical skills

Experience in the following areas would be advantageous but not essential:

• STORM
• Data Storage & File Server Migrations
• SaaS Application Implementations
• Azure DevOps environment build and configuration
• Support and usage of Solarwinds Service Desk
