Scalian is a globally recognized consulting and engineering firm specializing in operational excellence and innovation across various industries. We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Manager to join our London office, contributing to our mission of delivering high-value consulting services in industrial operations.

The Business Manager will be responsible for managing key client accounts and driving portfolio expansion within the Aerospace, Defence, and Nuclear sectors. This role requires a professional who can operate autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams, overseeing the entire client engagement process from opportunity identification to solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and develop relationships with key accounts in sectors such as Aerospace, Defence, and Nuclear.
  • Expand the client portfolio by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Oversee the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, needs assessment, negotiation, and delivery of consulting services.
  • Provide strategic consulting to enhance clients’ operational efficiency, with a focus on industrial processes and supply chain optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and consulting teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor industry trends to inform strategic decisions and maintain Scalian’s competitive edge.

Experience : Minimum of 5 years in business development, account management, or consulting, with proven expertise in the industrial sector.

Knowledge : An understanding of one or more of the following is desirable : supply chain management, project management, or digital systems.

Skills :

  • Advanced skills in sales, negotiation, and client relationship management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach.

Education : Master’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or a related discipline (preferred).

Location : Based in London, with remote flexibility
