About the Department:
The Business Intelligence team manages the entire reporting and analytics lifecycle—from requirements gathering and data extraction to visualisation, testing, and delivery. The team supports finance, treasury, risk, and strategic planning, and manages enterprise BI tools and platforms.
They leverage analytics to support informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and long-term business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote analytics and business intelligence initiatives across departments, fostering a data-led decision-making culture.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for data platforms and reporting tools, guiding stakeholders.
- Maintain and optimise reporting outputs, identifying enhancements and automation opportunities.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis for dynamic business needs.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from large databases.
- Support transformation initiatives by providing insights and reporting capabilities to improve data integrity and performance.
- Lead delivery of advanced analytics and AI projects aligned with business strategy.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and strategic opportunities.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy and clarity.
- Advise on developing KPIs to support business goals.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in a quantitative, scientific, or finance-related field
- Extensive experience in BI, analytics, or MI roles
- Strong SQL skills for large database querying and scalable code
- Expertise in Tableau with ability to build dashboards and reports
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and modeling
- Ability to apply analytics for business impact
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments
- Strong communication skills for technical concepts
- Good time management and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with agile methods and Jira
- Experience with Power BI
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL concepts
- Experience evaluating external data quality and value
