As a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) in this team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a highly scalable, reliable, and efficient reporting and analytical system to support the fast-growing business. You will collaborate with various business teams in identifying reporting and analytical requirements, building required data models, acquiring new data sources, and creating comprehensive data visualizations for key stakeholders. You will mine data, identify data correlations across different functional areas, run statistical analyses, gather insights, and make recommendations to help senior leaders make key business decisions. Data analysis is at the core of Amazon’s culture, and your work will directly impact decision-making and strategy. You will work with analytic tools, write excellent SQL scripts, optimize SQL query performance, and partner with internal customers to answer key business questions. - 10+ years of professional or military experience

- 5+ years of SQL experience

- Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large (multi-TB) data sets

- Experience with the theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results

- Experience with AWS technologies

- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills

- Experience with the theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining

- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs

- Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
