As a Senior Business Growth Manager, you are responsible for building and maintaining professional and profitable relationships and partnerships with key brands across a designated regional area. You will be leading the management of these clients, with the objective of generating maximum revenue for the Company.

What you'll be doing...

As a Senior Business Growth Manager, your core function is identifying new commercial opportunities with potential and existing brands. We expect you to generate maximum, profitable and sustainable revenue from your region.

You have overall responsibility for the performance of and the development of the region, selling cross all of our channels. You will devise development strategies, sales reporting, and revenue forecasts for the region.

  • Build and grow a diverse portfolio of brands. It is anticipated that 40% of your time will be spent on harvesting big spending client partners, growing the annual spend of these existing clients.
  • Work towards a diversification of the customer base; identifying viable new revenue streams to secure and nurture quality new business opportunities, clients and partnerships, delivering incremental revenues, developing brand count annually and driving the overall average client spend upwards.
  • Understand and excel in the JCDecaux full sales cycle from lead sourcing and crafting a brief, to final booking and handling the sales pipeline, ensuring the smooth running of all client campaigns.
  • Be at the forefront of the trends, innovations, mergers and acquisitions, new product development and emerging brands across your region and the OOH marketplace.
  • Lead tenders and the pitch process; ensuring every tender and pitch is unique and relevant to the client, are of consistently high quality; utilise existing experience, marketing and insight from within the business.
  • Identify and understand your clients’ business objectives and purpose, to build tailored proposals which deliver a balanced campaign model for long term clients. Utilise relevant, insightful and engaging business solutions to influence the client’s media decisions, requiring knowledge of our data sets, strong product knowledge and collaboration with other departments.
  • Understand and work within the parameters of JCD sales policy and business objectives, e.g. securing new revenue for digital formats and sharing in the responsibility for communicating JCDs Programmatic narrative to the marketplace
  • To a take a proactive approach to the region, stealing market share from the media landscape.
  • Act as an ambassador for business development across the geographical area. Identify and build relationships with regional influencers and business partners by attending events, networking sessions and hosting meetings to raise JCDecaux’s profile externally. Establish and develop an effective referral model within the area, to utilise business contacts to full effect and aiming to maximise new business.
  • Take responsibility for achievement of personal quarterly and yearly targets.

  • This role is home based, requiring you to work autonomously in the field and requiring to travel and attend all team meetings. You must be able to travel extensively and regularly (with overnight stays when appropriate) for team meetings and training when required.

  • Adept at in-depth sales generation, and account management skills, you are an excellent negotiator with a high degree of commercial competence.
  • Possess a strong market intelligence of the geographical location, business trends, contacts and networks, head offices, competition and media arena. Immersion in business hubs, networking events and platforms. Take a deep involvement in the marketplace, and you are seen as a credible voice and a go-to for media expertise.
  • Explains and presents sophisticated ideas clearly and passionately
