Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Business Enterprise Architect for a brand-new permanent opportunity. You’ll play a key role in supporting the development, operation, and continual maturity of our architecture practice. You’ll help steward critical platforms such as iServer as well as EA portals, enable governance processes like the Architecture Review Board (ARB), and collaborate with architects across the business to uplift the quality and currency of architectural artefacts.

Apply today and bring your practical experience in business process architecture and workflow automation. If you’ve had exposure to tools in our ecosystem such as Nintex, Optimizely, MuleSoft, and the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365, that’s a bonus!

Your Role in Action

  • Own the configuration, structure, and user experience of our iServer/OrbusInfinity repository and associated EA portals.
  • Maintain the quality and structure of Architecture artefacts, meta-models, and catalogues.
  • Support the implementation and evolution of architecture services, standards, and knowledge bases.
  • Administer and improve governance processes including Architecture Review Board (ARB) coordination and intake flows.
  • Interface with Solutions Architects, Product Architects and Enterprise Architects across the business to ensure annual refresh of architecture artifacts at increasing maturity.
  • Business Architecture & Workflow Automation
  • Lead or support modelling of business processes, capability maps, and operating models.
  • Champion pragmatic adoption of workflow automation and low-code platforms where appropriate.
  • Provide domain support in process management, including collaboration with business SMEs, process analysts, and delivery teams.
  • Evaluate and influence decisions on technology stacks supporting business and integration layers.

Apply our Technology Principles in practice:

  • Progress over Perfection
  • Purpose-led & People-centric
  • Long-term Thinking

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Proven experience supporting or leading an Architecture Practice within a complex or regulated organisation.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools, such as Orbus iServer/Infinity, ArchiMate, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of business architecture, capability modelling, and workflow design.
  • Understanding of governance mechanisms such as ARB, IT investment prioritisation, or standards management.
  • Comfortable with agile ways of working, cross-functional collaboration, and iterative delivery.
  • Effective communicator with ability to support and uplift product and solution architects.

Great to Have (But We’re Open-Minded!)

  • Practical experience with workflow automation platforms such as Nintex, Power Automate and Business Process Management.
  • Experience maintaining structured knowledge bases or EA portals in tools like Confluence or SharePoint.
  • Hands-on skills in JIRA
