The Client

The client is a partner of a Fortune 100 company, focusing on physical supply, energy procurement, price optimization, risk management, data management, and sustainability. They aim to become global leaders in sustainability and have exciting growth plans.

Job Purpose

  • Lead in selling sustainability services to new and existing clients.

Accountability/Key Responsibilities

  • Stay updated with energy and carbon laws, market trends, technological advancements, and energy solutions in sustainability.
  • Identify business development opportunities arising from market conditions, laws, regulations, or energy transition.
  • Collaborate with service delivery and marketing partners across the company.
  • Engage in business-to-business sales.
  • Support the sales and key account teams with knowledge of the company's sustainability solutions.
  • Prospect existing customers and acquire new clients for sustainability subscriptions.

Personal Specification

  • Experience selling solutions within the energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate, social, and environmental governance.
  • Understanding of carbon legislation and climate policies.
  • Experience with Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPA).
  • Understanding of onsite renewable energy solutions.
  • Confident in client-facing roles.
  • Willingness to travel across the country and Europe.
  • Degree in Environmental Science or equivalent (desirable).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the sustainability sector.
