Ayming UK is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager with deep expertise in UK grant funding to join our dynamic team in London.

Your main responsibilities will be :

  • Client Facing: Engage C-Level stakeholders and key decision-makers to promote Ayming’s Grants offering throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Market Development: Identify and qualify new grant funding opportunities aligned with client innovation or growth strategies.
  • Application Support: Assist in coordinating or advising on grant application processes, working closely with internal delivery teams.
  • Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records in CRM; manage forecasting and performance reporting.
  • Expert Knowledge: Stay current on funding trends and regulations to act as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaboration: Work with marketing and delivery teams to develop pitch materials and campaign strategies.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in business development or B2B consultative sales.
  • 3–5+ years of direct experience selling Grants services in the UK.
  • Strong understanding of UK grant schemes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with delivery teams on proposal strategy and grant submissions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or academic equivalent.
  • Dependable: You’ll demonstrate maturity during client engagements and amongst peers.
  • Organised: Time management and prioritisation is key as you will need to autonomously manage pipeline.
  • Excellent Communicator: Build strong client relationships through regular communication, clarifying key service details, and maintaining accuracy in responding to clients’ queries.
  • Proactive: Independent self-starter with a strategic eye to lead generation. Willing to try new things, research opportunities and innovate in pitches.
  • Networker: Have an extensive network and strong ability to create connections to build it further.
