Join Expedia Group Advertising to help marketers connect with global travelers through the world’s leading travel advertising platform. We’re looking for a strategic, results-driven Business Development Manager to drive advertising partnerships across the UK travel sector.
In this role, you will:
Lead consultative sales efforts to grow advertising partnerships, focusing on UK tourism boards, airports, and related sectors.
Develop and execute global, regional and local business strategies to optimize partner relationships and campaign performance.
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including up-selling and cross-selling to existing partners
Develop an understanding of partner needs and mapping those needs with planning and strategic selling.
Lead aspects of launches and day-to-day performance of advertising partnerships whilst collaborating with internal teams (marketing, operations, billing, product, media planning) to ensure campaign success.
Track and improve revenue performance through data analysis and ROI insights.
Accurately forecast media revenue and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
Represent Expedia Group Advertising internally and externally, contributing to product development and strategic planning.
Experience and Qualifications:
5+ years of media sales or related experience, ideally in travel or digital advertising.
Proven success in consultative selling and achieving revenue targets.
Skilled in navigating complex organizations and influencing C-level stakeholders.
Strong understanding of travel verticals (Destination Management Organizations (DMOs), airlines, attractions) and digital media and advertising.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and data interpretation.
Excellent presentation and communication skills in English.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset.
Willing to travel; valid passport recommended.
