Overview

Our client is the UK financial services arm of a blue chip global business. They are expanding their clean tech finance team, who provide asset finance and structured asset finance solutions to a broad range of customers across the UK.

You will support the team in identifying, approaching, and securing new partners across a range of different technologies. The role will suit a highly experienced individual capable of proactively driving new business, preparing Credit applications, and working closely with colleagues in Credit, Asset Management and Legal to ensure transactions are reviewed and documented appropriately.

You will build long term relationships with customers and industry partners/stakeholders and engage with all stakeholders across the business in a true deal team approach to ensure that transactions are booked correctly on internal systems and that those administering agreements in-life have all the necessary support and information.

The successful candidate will have proven business development skills, with an understanding of the clean technology sector in segments including roof and ground mounted solar PV, on-shore wind, combined heat and power plants, waste to energy, energy saving technologies e.g. LED lighting, recycling and EV charging infrastructure.

Additionally, you will have well developed credit skills, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
