Job description

Salary : £50,000 - £60,000 per annum with OTE potential of £90,000

Working Location : Hybrid | 2 days a week in our Old Street office if London based.

Our platform empowers property developers, land agents, architects, and planners with real-time insights, helping them make smarter, data-driven decisions when acquiring and developing land.

In just four years, we’ve built one of the UK’s most advanced property data pipelines, integrating thousands of data sources and processing terabytes of information with less than 24-hour latency. Our cutting-edge platform is shaping the future of property intelligence.

We are looking for a passionate Senior Business Development Manager to work for a profitable start-up, and if you want to gain in-depth knowledge of high-performance tech and the real estate industry, this is the opportunity for you!

Your Responsibilities

  1. Reach out to potential customers in the real estate, construction, property, and land industries via phone/video calls.
  2. Run 30-minute demos of the Searchland platform.
  3. Advise customers on how to best leverage the platform for their business needs.
  4. Collect, organise and report back on feedback on a weekly basis including identifying dissatisfied users or product improvements.
  5. Liaise with wider team and founders to upskill your role.
  6. Freedom to implement your own sales process (within our best practice customer journey guideline).
  7. Identify where the self-service sales can be improved.
  8. Represent Searchland by attending networking events.
  9. There will be occasional travel across the UK to provide in-person demos to represent Searchland.

Requirements

  1. Experience working as a Senior BDM.
  2. Experience in the following industries: Real Estate, Land, Planning or Property Technology.
  3. Proven ability to deliver live product demonstrations, both virtually and in person.
  4. Strong experience using CRM software such as HubSpot.
  5. Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  6. Confident presenting to varied stakeholders and adapting messaging based on the audience.
