Job Description:

Type: Permanent, full-time

Working Hours: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £65k depending on experience, plus good benefits

Location: London (Hybrid style, 2 days a week in the office)

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Business Development & Investment: Looking for and evaluating investment opportunities, supporting creation of models and business plans, market evaluation, digital technology use cases, negotiations, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
  2. Group Company Management: Monitoring subsidiaries and affiliates for growth and profitability, decision-making, and analysis preparation.
  3. General Department Activities: Market research, operational improvements, and other support activities. Travel within Europe and Japan (~10% of time).
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience in IT/DX, portfolio management, business strategy, risk management, or corporate finance.
  • Knowledge in IT/DX/technology, preferably in Energy or Steel/Metal industries.
  • IT due diligence/PMI experience preferred.
  • Skills in analysis, advice, and presentation to senior management.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • University degree or equivalent in Management, Business, Finance, Law, Engineering, etc.
  • Advanced skills in Digital data technologies and Excel modeling.
  • Understanding of international commercial business.
  • Ability to travel within Europe and Japan.
