In London, we are actively seeking a professional to join our team as a Senior Business Development Director - Retail and HiTech (f/m/x).
This is you
- Manage strategic accounts and develop long-term partnerships with key clients.
- Lead new business acquisition efforts by identifying and engaging prospective customers across the UK market.
- Execute well-defined business development routines including pipeline management, forecasting, and strategic targeting.
- Apply consultative selling methodologies to position complex IT and custom software development services effectively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with delivery and marketing teams to ensure value-driven outcomes for clients.
- Operate as a self-driven and proactive team player, contributing to both individual and team success.
- Leverage your established network within UK mid and large enterprises to open new opportunities; international connections across Europe or the US are a strong asset.
- Navigate international business environments with confidence and cultural fluency.
- Engage directly with C-level stakeholders, understanding and addressing their strategic technology needs.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the IT industry, especially within Retail and HiTech sectors. Experience with purpose-built platforms is a significant plus.
This is your role
- Lead account management for strategic UK clients, ensuring strong relationships and consistent value delivery.
- Drive new business acquisition, identifying and securing opportunities with mid-to-large enterprises in the UK market.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, aligning sales strategies with client needs and business goals.
- Work in tight collaboration with delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Own quota management, forecasting, and pipeline development, consistently delivering against sales targets.
- Contribute to the overall market strategy, sharing insights and helping shape go-to-market plans.
- Partner closely with the marketing team to align campaigns with sales priorities and generate qualified leads.
- Actively represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, elevating brand visibility and expanding your network.
