Job description

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experiencedBusiness Analystwith a strong background in regulatory transaction reporting under G20 regulations, including but not limited toEMIR, MiFIR, ASIC, MAS, and HKMA. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to independently lead business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, data mapping, and control framework design to support:

  • Delivery of regulatory change initiatives

  • Design and implementation of data mappings and process flows for regulatory reporting

  • Quality assurance of existing data mapping rules

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis for regulatory reporting change programmes

  • Translate complex regulatory rules into actionable data mapping and process requirements

  • Design and enhance transaction reporting control frameworks and governance structures

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, technology, and operations

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews on existing regulatory data mappings


Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  1. In-depth knowledge of one or more G20 regulations (e.g.,EMIR, MiFIR, CFTC, SEC, MAS, ASIC, HKMA, Canada) with a focus ondata mappingand regulatory rule interpretation

  2. Strong understanding of thetrade lifecycleandtransaction reportingprocesses, particularly forderivatives and securities

  3. Demonstrated experience inregulatory change programmeswithin financial services

  4. Familiarity withtransaction reporting control frameworksandgovernance models

Other beneficial skills and experiences:

  • Experience working in large financial institutions on regulatory reporting initiatives

  • Proven ability to engage and present tosenior stakeholders, including compliance and risk teams

  • Exposure toregulatory reporting assurance programmes
