Job description

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst, based in London, Munich or Madrid.

Our team is committed to refocus on Insurance Operations focusing on Change and Process Management, being customer focused and ensuring we have the right structure along with the right tools to support business ambition.

The Impact You Will Have

You will provide cross-regional and cross-functional analysis/consultancy on Board-approved projects and initiatives to deliver its value-proposition to clients. You are responsible for the delivery of large and complex projects designed to standardize our processes and make them as lean as possible (ensuring they are aligned with BMP). You will ensure your analysis/consultancy is in line with Allianz standards.

This role is of senior nature and includes the management of project team members.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

  • Align with business priorities to identify Allianz Commercial improvement opportunities in organization, processes, capabilities, and IT applications.
  • Lead management discussions to approve project proposals, including VoC, cost/benefit analysis, work package definitions, and resource planning.
  • Ensure GBO requirements are met in projects and anticipate future challenges for GBO teams.
  • Compile and share best practices within the department and across Global Business Operations, focusing on process analysis and improvement.
  • Assist in standardizing processes across departments to ensure consistency and minimize variability. Organize workshops and meetings to gather input and promote collaboration for harmonization efforts. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of these processes, making adjustments as needed.
  • Manage change initiatives with as-is vs to-be gap analysis, develop change management plans, and maintain communication with GBO stakeholders.
  • Manage project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for automation and digital solutions.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • Business Analysis Skills: Break complex subjects into manageable pieces; assess status quo, business requirements, create process flows and define target and course of action.
  • Insurance Industry Expertise: Extensive experience and knowledge in the insurance business.
  • Project & Change Management: Proficiency in managing large complex projects, stakeholder management, change curve, and communication.
  • Consulting & Relationship Management:Skills in customer satisfaction, understanding needs, building CBA & Business Case, facilitation, and consulting.
  • Cross-Cultural Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of international work experience and ability to lead diverse teams.
  • Adaptability & Initiative: Ability to adapt to changing environments, cope with tight deadlines, and demonstrate strong personal initiative.
  • Communication & Leadership: Effective communication and presentation skills; leadership and decision-making abilities in diverse cultural settings.
  • AI: You should be able to integrate AI-driven insights into your work to optimize outcomes and support broader organizational goals.
