We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support our Business Development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Wholesale Banking & Financing Solutions and Deputy Head of Institutional Banking & Distribution in executing IB business strategy in Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Manage existing African FI relationships and enhance profitability in line with the Bank’s risk appetite and strategic targets.
• Assist Relationship Managers in achieving departmental budgets and driving new business origination.
• Prepare and deliver credit applications for review, demonstrating strong financial statement analysis skills.
• Ensure compliance with KYC and KYB requirements, including full onboarding and review processes.
• Coordinate with the Business Risk Review team to ensure timely completion of client reviews and memos.
• Monitor and manage financial review deadlines, obtaining necessary approvals for extensions.
• Support portfolio management and client queries efficiently.

Experience / Knowledge:

• Experience with Financial Institutions, UK regulatory knowledge, credit analysis, KYC & KYB processes.
• Understanding of International Trade Finance.
• Experience in the African market is highly advantageous.
• French language skills are desirable.
• Familiarity with Moody’s Analytical tools and financial statement analysis for banks.
