We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support our business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Wholesale Banking & Financing Solutions and Deputy Head of Institutional Banking & Distribution in driving IB business strategy in Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Manage existing African FI relationships and enhance unit profitability in line with the Bank’s risk appetite, budgets, and global strategy.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Support Relationship Managers in achieving departmental budgets.
• Drive business origination by marketing new relationships and onboarding clients.
• Prepare credit applications for review, with strong financial statement analysis skills.
• Ensure compliance with KYC/KYB requirements and full onboarding processes.
• Monitor financial statement review deadlines and coordinate approvals.
• Handle customer queries efficiently.
• Assist in prospecting, due diligence, and portfolio management.

Experience / Knowledge:

• Experience with Financial Institutions, UK regulatory knowledge, credit analysis, KYC & KYB requirements.
• Understanding of International Trade Finance.
• Experience in the African market is advantageous.
• French language skills desirable.
• Experience with financial statement spreading and risk rating tools.
