We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support our business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Wholesale Banking & Financing Solutions and Deputy Head of Institutional Banking & Distribution in driving business strategy in Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Manage existing African FI relationships and improve profitability in line with the Bank’s risk appetite and strategic targets.
• Prepare and deliver credit applications, ensuring thorough financial analysis and compliance.
• Conduct full KYC and KYB reviews for new and existing clients.
• Coordinate with the Business Risk Review team to ensure timely client reviews and approvals.
• Monitor financial statement review deadlines and obtain necessary approvals.
• Assist Relationship Managers in prospecting, due diligence, and portfolio management.

Experience / Knowledge:

• Experience in Financial Institutions, UK regulatory environment, and credit analysis.
• Understanding of International Trade Finance.
• Experience in the African market and French language skills are advantageous.
• Knowledge of Moody’s and other risk rating tools.
