Capgemini is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in the UK (Hove) to spearhead client-centric IT delivery with a path to leadership. The role blends Capgemini offices, client sites and home-working, with governance checks and capability to influence strategy at senior levels.

You will lead workshops, collaborate with architects and product teams, and drive innovative solutions including AI-enhanced processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience working on user-centred product or service development projects.
  • Experience in a technical environment, collaborating with solution architects and other technical SMEs.
  • Ability to identify and develop business opportunities with clients.
  • Experience mentoring and developing other BAs.
  • Experience in the Public Sector or legislatively driven sectors (Utilities, Energy, Pharmaceutical).
  • Desirable: BCS BA certification and SC clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Lead face-to-face and virtual client workshops and manage stakeholders with differing priorities.
  • Take an evidence-based approach to inform decisions and challenge where needed.
  • Navigate ambiguity, provide clarity, and deliver end-to-end solutions meeting client requirements.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Managers, UX Designers, and other disciplines.
  • Drive innovation (e.g., Generative AI) to increase client value.
  • Take responsibility for leading BA on complex projects and support career progression of other BAs.

About the job you're consideringAs a Senior Business Analyst at Capgemini, you will be part of a growing, client-centric practice shaping the future of public service delivery, in a role offering a clear path to leadership.To support the growth of this modern, high-impact practice you will be highly customer focused, bringing extensive BA experience in IT delivery, as well as bringing a consulting approach to problem-solving, with the ability to influence, challenge, and co-create with clients.You will build stakeholder relationships at all levels, deliver strategic IT solutions, provide expert guidance in complex, client-facing environments and further develop our business.Hybrid working: This role will be based at our new Hove office. The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)Your role• Lead both face to face and virtual client workshops, managing stakeholders with differing priorities to reach agreed requirements• Take an evidence-based approach, i.e. using data to inform, and where necessary constructively challenge, decisions, ensuring that the right outcome is reached.• Work with ambiguity, bringing clarity and cutting through complexity.• Work closely with Solution Architects, Product Managers, User Experience Designers, whilst also understanding how to work effectively with other disciplines to deliver an end-to-end solution which meets clients’ requirements.• Understand industry trends, look for new opportunities for work within your projects, contribute to bid proposals and drive innovation which will increase client value e.g., use of Generative AI to enhance business processes.• Take responsibility for leading Business Analysis on complex projects, often in high pressure situations, role modelling professional behaviours to colleagues.• Have people management responsibilities, driving improvements across the BA profession, actively supporting the development and career progression of other BAsYour skills and experience• Working on user-centred product or service development projects.• Working in a technical environment.
