Job summary

A global organisation in the energy and commodities trading sector is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join its Digital & IT team in London. This varied BA role involves working with Front Office trading teams and stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Operations and Technology.

You will gather and translate business requirements, lead workshops, and support projects from initial discovery to delivery. The role spans application, data, reporting and transformation initiatives, with exposure

Qualifications

Experience as a Business Analyst within trading, financial services, commodities or energy environments.
Strong requirements gathering, process analysis and stakeholder management skills.
Experience supporting delivery of projects and change initiatives, not only documentation.
Confidence working with both business and technology stakeholders.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

Lead workshops, requirements gathering and stakeholder discussions.
Partner with Front Office trading teams and other stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
Support projects from discovery through delivery and implementation.
Work across applications, data, reporting and transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with internal technology teams and external suppliers to prioritise enhancements.
