About the role

Please note: this role can be based out of our Deeside, Eccles, or Wellingborough locations.

The IT Senior Business Analyst (Finance) is a newly established position within the Booker IT team. The individual will support change management, compliance programmes, and systems delivery across the Finance teams.

Main Responsibilities

The role involves supporting Finance colleagues daily, managing and resolving problem tickets, and providing expertise to facilitate informed decision-making. Responsibilities also include overseeing SAP maintenance (FI/CO), managing user and cost centre configurations, handling Segregation of Duties (SoD), safeguarding system integrity, adhering to ICFR controls, and performing routine and ad hoc tasks to support the Finance teams. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional precision and oversee critical functions to ensure financial systems are secure and operationally effective.

You will need

• SAP experience is essential, particularly testing within an ECC6 environment.
• Experience managing change from conception to support.
• Project delivery experience.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of wholesale business operations.
• Strong people management skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external teams.
• Service management experience, including support provision and project leadership.
• Consistent track record of delivering results.
