About the role

Note: this role can be based out of our Deeside, Eccles, or Wellingborough locations.

The IT Senior Business Analyst (Finance) is a newly established position within the Booker IT team. The individual will support change, compliance programmes, and systems delivery across the Finance teams.

Main Responsibilities

The role involves supporting Finance colleagues daily, overseeing and resolving problem tickets, and providing knowledge and expertise for informed decision-making.

Responsibilities include overseeing SAP maintenance (FI/CO), managing user and cost centre configurations, handling Segregation of Duties (SoD), safeguarding system integrity, adhering to ICFR controls, and performing routine and ad hoc tasks to support the Finance teams. The role requires precision and the ability to ensure financial systems are secure and operationally effective.

You will need

• SAP experience is essential, preferably within an ECC6 environment, including SAP testing.
• Experience managing change from conception through to support.
• Project delivery experience.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of wholesale business functions.
• Effective people management skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external teams.
• Service management experience with successful support and project leadership.
• Consistent results delivery.
