One of the biggest UK rail network companies, operating in rail infrastructure and asset management, needs to develop and support enterprise-level information systems.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst for an API integration project. The role involves identifying detailed business requirements, managing full requirements lifecycle, proposing appropriate solutions, and ensuring rigorous testing to meet business needs and deliverables. The role will also serve as the interface between the business and Route Services IT (RSIT) during the end-to-end IT delivery lifecycle and will work on multiple projects or workstreams.

Main skills:

• API expertise is essential
• Recent consistent experience as a BA (minimum 5+ years)
• Experience with building headless platforms and API integrations
• Experience in requirements elicitation and gathering
• Stakeholder management skills (including workshops)
• Experience with managing UAT
• Experience with the full project lifecycle
• Up-to-date understanding of analysis approaches, tools, and techniques

Nice-to-have skills:

• BCS/ISEB Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis
• Business process and data modeling experience
