Senior Business Analyst

I am looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a specialist in the telecommunications industry as they embark on a series of exciting projects. Their goal is to create a brand new data warehouse, and they are seeking someone with knowledge of data modelling, ETL procedures, or database design principles. Your primary objective will be to have a strong grasp of technical requirements, translate them into business requirements, and work on BAU requests from the wider team.

Responsibilities

1. Gather and analyse technical requirements and translate them into business requirements.
2. Facilitate technical workshops.
3. Create and maintain documentation for all changes to the data systems.
4. Work closely with the data architecture team to ensure data model changes align with the business data strategy.
5. Lead projects to propose data model changes and ensure data mapping exercises are carried out.

Qualifications

1. Strong experience working as a Business Analyst on data-focused projects.
2. Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL procedures, or database design principles.
3. Understanding of database architecture.
4. Requirements gathering and ability to document technical requirements.

This is largely a remote role, but the client has an office near Brighton if you wish to work in person. The role offers a starting salary of up to £68,000 depending on experience, plus a full company benefits package.
