Senior Business Analyst – Power & Renewables

This is a permanent role in a growing international engineering services company. You will join an agile and multi-functional team dedicated to delivering leading-edge technology systems and process improvements. The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be critical to managing and optimising business processes, tools, and systems for our international Power and Renewables business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing processes and procedures, including documentation, workflows, and governance.
  • Driving operational excellence through analytics, business analysis, and lean process improvement.
  • Defining business requirements, engaging with stakeholders, and delivering improvement initiatives from start to finish.
  • Supporting the implementation of changes through testing, training, and communication.
  • Collaborating with IT teams to align business needs with technical capabilities.

Candidate Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience, ideally in the power, energy, or utilities sector.
  • Relevant third-level degree in engineering.
  • Strong skills in numeric analysis, technical writing, process mapping, and requirement gathering.
  • Experience in business and process analysis and project delivery (Agile/Waterfall).
  • A Lean Six Sigma or Project Management qualification is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Experience with tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Visio, and MS Office.
