Senior Business Analyst

We're looking for an experienced and inquisitive Senior Business Analyst to join our Commercial Technology & Change team, a team at the forefront of delivering ITV's transformational commercial strategy.

In this exciting and hands-on role, you'll collaborate with colleagues across Product, Design, Engineering, QA, Delivery, and Change, as well as key business stakeholders, to help shape the commercial technology landscape of the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and documenting how ITV's advertising business operates today and how it needs to evolve, covering people, processes, technology, and data
  • Leading business process modelling efforts to map complex processes at multiple levels and align them to future-state solutions
  • Applying domain modelling to identify key concepts, entities, and relationships essential for solution design
  • Conducting systems analysis by reviewing and documenting business functions, rules, data flows, and integrations
  • Leading requirements engineering activities, eliciting, analysing, defining, validating, and prioritising business needs, logic, and constraints
  • Supporting benefits analysis and realisation by helping quantify expected business outcomes and validating post-delivery impact
  • Assessing vendor solutions through vendor evaluation, identifying capability gaps and aligning solutions to business goals
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to co-design, evaluate, and implement valuable software solutions
  • Driving the successful implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of solutions, ensuring they deliver measurable business value

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

  • At least 6+ years' experience in a business analysis or related role, with proven application of BA techniques in complex project or product settings
  • Familiarity with agile principles and experience working in cross-functional product teams
  • Strong business, systems, and data analysis expertise
  • Demonstrated experience across business process modelling, domain modelling, systems analysis, requirements engineering, and vendor evaluation
  • A naturally curious and proactive mindset, comfortable leading analysis efforts and working independently
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in deliverables
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to frame challenges, communicate insights, and respectfully challenge assumptions
  • Familiarity with supporting software development aligned to organisational and product goals

Other things we're looking for (key criteria)

  • Knowledge of the advertising sector and relevant technologies is ideal
