Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong understanding of asset management to join our team. In this role, you will become a trusted partner to stakeholders, identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and driving strategic initiatives through data-driven insights and analysis.

This is an important hire for Hayfin, during a pivotal growth phase after a successful management buyout in 2025. You will work closely with the Change and Transformation Director, as part of a small, high-caliber team, collaborating with senior leadership.

Requirements
Experience
  • 8+ years of analyzing, documenting, and delivering high-quality business processes
  • 8+ years of eliciting requirements for IT systems
  • Experience working within or consulting to asset or wealth management firms
Skills
  • Proficiency in capturing and documenting detailed business requirements
  • Ability to facilitate stakeholders in defining clear and concise requirements
  • Experience with data projects and delivering data solutions
  • End-to-end project lifecycle experience
  • Experience interacting directly with end users and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable across technical and executive audiences
  • Ability to develop business cases and perform cost-benefit analyses
  • Capability to operate in complex environments with limited documentation
  • Knowledge of asset management processes and project delivery
Knowledge
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma
  • BA qualification (e.g., BCS Diploma in Business Analysis) preferred
  • CFA Level 1/2 preferred
  • Proficiency with core Microsoft Office products
