Pay up to £66,058, plus 28.97% employer pension contributions, hybrid working, flexible hours, and great work life balance.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join thriving community of practise here at DWP Digital.

You will be a leading figure within our community of over 250 Business Analysts, growing your leadership experience and expanding your management capability by supporting your colleagues to develop their skills too.

Technical statement:

• How does your experience of leading other BAs in analysis activities make you a great fit for this Senior BA role at DWP Digital (see Job Description in Advert)?

• Evidences significant experience of working at Senior BA level (as detailed in our job description) leading business analysis activities within complex projects/environments.
• Evidences experience of supporting more junior BAs to take responsibility for their own learning and development and building their BA toolkit.

You and your role

Day-to-day you'll do the Senior BA work that you recognise, leading business analysis activities within your project areas.

You know which tools and techniques to use to identify improvements and make recommendations. You will communicate across senior technical and business stakeholders ensuring the understanding of requirement and acceptance criteria is aligned.

What might surprise you is the scale and impact here. You'll work on large, complex products or services, or across a number of products or services simultaneously. You'll work with non-hierarchical, agile multidisciplinary teams who are all driven to deliver excellence for the users at the sharp end of DWP services.

You will lead workshops, interviews and focus groups to translate business and user needs to effective products and services for our colleagues and customers.

And you'll have a chance to share your skills. You'll manage our junior BAs, develop your leadership skills, and pass on your knowledge and experience to the BA leaders of the future. You will also support recruitment for your area as we grow our BA community for the future.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £66,058.

Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.

Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.

You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
