EC Property Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor (or Associate Director) for Central London. The role centres on refurbishment, condition surveys and project delivery for public sector clients such as social housing, education and local authorities.

You will lead schemes, manage client relationships and mentor junior surveyors within a supportive team. The package offers up to £85,000 with scope above this for a strong fit, plus bonus and flexible benefits, and a hybrid working

Qualifications

• MRICS or MCIOB preferred.
• Strong building surveying experience across project and professional work.
• Public sector experience, particularly social housing or education, would be valuable.
• Confidence managing projects and client relationships independently.
• Sound technical knowledge and clear report-writing skills.
• An organised, practical approach to delivering several instructions.

Responsabilités

• Managing refurbishment and improvement projects from initial brief through to completion.
• Undertaking condition surveys, defect investigations and preparing technical advice.
• Producing specifications and tender documentation.
• Delivering contract administration and monitoring works on site.
• Managing project programmes, quality and client expectations.
• Advising housing, education and local authority clients directly.
• Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors.
