Bhangals Construction Consultants Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor with strong Party Wall expertise to lead our residential surveying and neighbourly matters service across the region. This role offers a path to advance the surveying arm within a growing QS/estimating/PM practice.

You will be technically strong, client-facing and able to take ownership of complex cases, mentoring junior staff and developing new service lines for the business.

Qualifications

• MRICS or AssocRICS status, or working towards it.
• Strong experience with the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
• Background in residential building surveying.
• Experience preparing, serving and negotiating Party Wall Awards.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, defects and building pathology.
• Professional, calm and authoritative client manner.
• Desirable: membership of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors, Pyramus & Thisbe Club, mentoring junior staff.

Responsabilités

• Lead and deliver a high-value residential surveying workload.
• Act as Party Wall Surveyor for Building Owners, Adjoining Owners and as Agreed Surveyor.
• Prepare and serve Party Wall Notices, Schedules of Condition and Awards.
• Produce defect and building pathology reports covering various issues.
• Advise clients on technical, statutory and neighbourly matters.
• Manage client relationships with confidence and professionalism.
• Support and mentor an Assistant or Graduate Surveyor.
• Contribute to service development and process improvement.
